Our Hearts Are Full

This past holiday season, the team at Source1 Purchasing helped to fund $12,000 in new programs for The Global Opportunity (GO) Fund through our charitable contributions. The GO Fund is a non-profit organization that helps women and children throughout Africa. As a result of our contributions, The GO Fund was able to provide health insurance to hundreds of children and sponsor many women for sewing apprenticeships. They were also able to provide food, clothing, and medicine for children at a local orphanage.

Charitable giving is an integral part of our mission at Source1 Purchasing.

“So many children go without adequate school supplies or insurance,” Scott Hoffmire said. “We are honored to be a small part in the lives of so many.”

The GO Fund is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2007 to empower and enrich the lives of women and children in Africa through educational, social support, and entrepreneurial projects. They work hand-in-hand with grassroots organizations in Africa to simultaneously build their capacity to serve their communities while launching sustainable development projects that will carry on their work for years to come.
