Evy Little, Director of Human Resources and Administration for Source1 Purchasing, says that as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, the company has committed to doing “at least one event per month” in conjunction with Feeding America, including fundraising through a recent local 5k in which a dozen local Source1 Purchasing employees participated. “The Source1 leadership team is also pursuing volunteer opportunities in their own home states in California, Texas, Tennessee, and Missouri,” said Little.
Source1 also supports Feeding America through its signature Lead to Feed program. Through the proprietary program, customers will receive a $100 Visa gift card and Source1 will make a donation in the customer’s name to Feeding America for every referred lead that enrolls in the Source1 purchasing program.
“Giving back is something we feel strongly about,” said Hoffmire, “and helping to eliminate hunger within our own communities is a great way to do that – especially at the holidays.”
