Scott Hoffmire, founder of Source1 Purchasing in 1990, has over 25 years of multi-unit food & beverage operations experience. Scott is one of the most successful theoreticians and practitioners of Standards Based Purchasing methods, having saved John Q. Hammons Hotels $800,000 in the first year of the program he designed and operated for them. Before founding Food Insights, Scott served 15 years as Corporate Director of Food & Beverage Operations at Allen & O’Hara. A procurement specialist, Scott creates customer-driven purchasing programs for the hotel, school and college industries.
Robert Bassett, CHA

Robert “Bob” Bassett, is a 25-year veteran of the Hospitality industry. He is known for his ability as a procurement specialist to integrate technology, people and information with standardized procurement and control procedures to drive quality and reduction of “total costs.” Bob has served as Corporate Director of Purchasing for the RFS portfolio of 70 hotels; Corporate Director of Purchasing for the 1,100 unit Promus Hotels; and Corporate Director of Purchasing for Flagstone Hospitality Management’s 56 hotels. He is a Certified Hotel Administrator and a member of the Institute for Supply Chain Management.
Donna Del Rosso
Senior Vice President, Business Development
Donna Del Rosso’s career spans 20 years of multi-modal supply chain industry experience. As a leader at “Top 100 Logistics” companies, she created operations and sales programs exceeding both performance and financial goals. Along the way, she customized perishable distribution networks and integrated transportation solutions for some of America’s largest retailers. Donna enjoys building teams, strategic planning and growing businesses. With a passion for continuous learning, she recently enriched her business acumen with an M.B.A. from Florida Atlantic University, SC Pro certification from the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
Molly Fierro, MS, CTP
Senior Director, Operations
Molly is an innovative leader and knows first-hand what it takes to create a successful operation from conception to opening and well beyond. Her unique approach to client procurement and supply chain management incorporates strategic planning, organization capability and decision analysis. Before entering the world of supply chain management, she earned her stripes as a director of operations, business process improvement officer, and director of dining. Molly continues to serve as Senior Consultant for Food Insights, a sister company of Source1. In this capacity, she has established procurement procedures with cost reductions, developed and implemented an operational excellence program, and ultimately improved the organization’s financial and operational performance.
Senior Director, Customer Relations
Becky’s experience in customer relations spans several industries, including healthcare and economic development. She was instrumental in several reorganizations in the Business Offices of two hospitals and a large physician group in Palm Beach County. For the last seven years, her efforts were focused on helping local businesses find appropriate resources to expand. Through her work, many companies were able to find suitable real estate, access tax incentives and training grants, and add new jobs. Understanding a customer’s needs and problem solving are her passion and forte. She is excited to work with the customers of Source1 Purchasing to help them save money and improve their business.
Senior Director, Marketing
Ursula joined Source1 Purchasing with a 25-year background in the hospitality industry in the area of marketing and corporate communication. She has experience with hotels, cruise lines, tourist development councils and airlines. The Walt Disney World Dolphin, The Breakers and Norwegian Cruise Lines are a few of the companies for whom Ursula has launched strong branding campaigns, identified efficient solutions and built strong sales and marketing teams. Ursula has two children and resides in Delray Beach. She enjoys gardening, reading, traveling and scuba diving.
Director of Sales
David started working with Source1 Purchasing in 2010 after 30 years in the garment industry. His forte is sales. David has enjoyed a successful sales career with Office Depot, Wentworth Galleries and Fidelity Investments. One guiding principle that serves as David’s mantra is that of outstanding service. With a great product and dedicated service, David introduces businesses to the service of Source1. David and his lovely bride of 40 years enjoy cruising and entertaining their many dear friends from the Bronx.
Director of National Accounts
Ken Robinson joined Source1 in January 2012 with over 24 years of experience in Foodservice. Ken formerly served as a Managing Partner of a Foodservice Sales & Marketing firm with sales of over $50 million. His forte is business development and sales. Under his leadership, the Foodservice firm experienced double digit sales growth for an 18-year period. Ken spends his free time with his family, hunting and exercising. His community involvement extends to helping curb the Childhood Obesity epidemic and serving as a volunteer for a mentoring program for father-less kids.
Director of Market Development
Kelly has worked in the food industry for over seven years. With a background in food manufacturing, she managed many aspects of day-to-day operations for a major United States pork distributor. Kelly’s areas of focus are customer service, relationship management and strategic planning. She is active in several local charities as a board member of the West Palm 100 and close affiliate of The Palm Beach County Food Bank. Kelly is an avid runner and enjoys competing in destination runs having completed several marathons and half-marathons. She holds Bachelors’ Degrees in Business and Communications from the University of Pittsburgh and will graduate with her MBA from the University of Florida in April 2013.
Based in Memphis, Ben provides IT support and serves as the Salesforce Administrator. Ben brings comprehensive experience in technology services to the company. Prior to joining Source1 Purchasing, Ben was employed by a nationally-recognized marketing and consumer research firm with focus on the food service industry. He also has a technical background with online tools and system.
Mary has been involved in the food industry for over 25 years. Her background in foodservice distribution includes national account management, procurement, product specification management and personnel management. She has worked with Source1 Purchasing for over 5 years in operations focusing on program management, procurement and data management.
Account Manager, Customer Relations
Sharon’s career spans 25 years in Telecommunications Business Sales and Service; focusing on proactively servicing her clients’ business needs. She specializes in building strong relationships through regular contact with customers, especially listening and understanding their needs. Her ongoing goal is to facilitate solutions effectively and efficiently!
Account Manager, Customer Relations
Margaret has over 25 years of network development and customer service experience in the social service, healthcare, and insurance industries. Margaret’s recipe for success is her commitment to helping others. She is energized when educating customers on ways to maximize program benefits and delivering timely resolution to their questions and concerns. When not at work, Margaret enjoys sharing life with her husband, Phil and their two adorable cats, George and Gracie.
Megan is a Veteran who served 5 years active duty in the United States Marine Corps as an aviation electrician maintaining the EA6B “Prowler,” an electronic warfare jet. After the Marine Corps, Megan worked in the banking industry for over 5 years in Customer Service. Her experience in banking has taught her that every customer interaction is important. Megan’s goal is to make each customer feel appreciated and address their concerns promptly and professionally.
Sales and Marketing Coordinator
Shaunda joined the Source1 team in 2012. Her background includes 20 years of sales and service experience in both the telecommunications and technology industries. Prior to Source1, Shaunda handled technology sales and account management primarily to Federal Government agencies. She specializes in small to enterprise level account management, process and cost efficiency and well as attentive and responsive customer service. Shaunda is a native Floridian, mother of three and loves to travel.
Account and Administrative Assistant
Susan has worked for Source1 Purchasing since 2009. With over 30 years experience in administrative, account management and customer service she specializes in developing account coordination for Source1. Susan resides in the Memphis area. Susan has been married 27 years and has a daughter. She is active in her church, likes to travel and enjoys all sports including golf. Her favorite sports are racing and football, Tony Stewart is her favorite NASCAR driver, she also likes dirt racing. She enjoys watching football but especially the Indianapolis Colts and UT Vols.
Cathy L. Burrus
Cathy has over 30 years of hands-on experience in foodservice distribution covering every facet of distribution supply. Areas of expertise include; purchasing, transportation, operations, inventory management, administration and account management. Cathy specialized in working with non-profit schools, universities and other accounts, from design to daily management of single-source purchase programs. Since joining Source1 in 2005, Cathy has led the design of verification systems and processes and is responsible for Source1 price, procedure and facility management services.
